Marigold is a yearly plant that has pale yellow or orange flowers growing up to seven cm in width. It attracts beneficial insects thanks to it's high nectar content. These insects pollinate flowers and defend your plants.
The marigold Pocket Gardens make very unique presents for your friends and family and can also be found in the garden orchard pack and the garden of beneficial insects pack.
Planting Instructions:
Sowing: From March to August. Put the seeds in a hole about 0.2 cm deep, cover it with soil and water right away.
Soil: The seeds can grow either planted in the ground or in a flower pot (at least 20 cm diameter); the ideal soil is potting compost, but plain soil can also be used.
Watering: Regular watering is required but be careful not to over water.
Exposure: The plants prefer sunny positions but also grow well in partial shade.
