I bought this product because I liked the unusual fabric, and it's style meant my husband would be comfortable wearing it too. My baby is now only 6 weeks old, but this bag has been used constantly since before we even left hospital. The fabric is durable, and the two end pockets are well thought through and useful. (The one with the hole in is for wet-wipes... took me a while to work that out!!). I have a few niggles with the bag though: There are two pockets on the outside of the bag, under the mat and flap. If you have the mat attached these are useless. A mobile phone pocket somewhere accessible would be nice, but can live without it; The strap could do with being detachable, so that I can take it off whilst still wearing my sling, and it does seem to lengthen on its own, which can be a pain, but was fixed with a safety pin; The change mat included on the front of the bag is lovely and padded, however, the pockets on the flaps are fairly useless, as if used, the mat won't fold up to reach to studded closure. The studs are my main bugbear with this bag... as soon as anything is put in the bag, it expands, and the studs either don't reach to close, or simply pop apart. Their magnetic ability is just not strong enough. We have had the mat fall open most inconveniently in Bath, Edinburgh, London, all over! Also, where some purses (and indeed one-size birth to potty nappies) have multiple options for closing studs, there is only one option on this bag, and they just seem to be in the wrong place. I have had to add buttons and velcro to the flap and the mat in order to ensure it stays closed.
I was unable to find this bag in a shop to see before I bought, but the rep for the company was most helpful and friendly, and called us back as promised. I would love Sativa to take on board my concerns, as it could be a great bag...
My rating for this bag is after my minor adjustments.
